I studied English and Drama at London University, trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama and have been working as an actress in Theatre, film and TV. I have run acting workshops for actors and students, directed and choreographed theatre work.

The skills we use as actors reflect the skills you need in business. As actors we have to find ways or techniques to emotionally engage with our material - it’s this engagement of passion that makes someone watch-able, believable and dynamic. In business we are drawn to people in the same way, people who engage us with passion and energy and who believe in what they’re saying. This is core to being a motivational and inspirational speaker.

Changing your style of communication is also a key skill both in business and in acting. We are trained to be extremely sensitive to verbal and non verbal communication - how we say what we say and how our body language reflects this. Again, these are essential skills for building relationships and trust in a business environment - it’s less about what you say than how you say it that has impact and affects change.

So from working in theatre for nearly 20 years and in business for 10 of those, I’ve understood how to use my acting skills in a business environment - how to combine strong messaging with vibrant delivery. My aim is to help people have clear, powerful messages, communicated with purpose, clarity and passion.

What I offer:

I offer Presentation skills, effective communication, role-play and media training. We can focus on one area or use elements from each as there are many crossovers.

You can have 1:1 coaching, bespoke training courses, forum theatre workshops, scriptwriting services or simply ideas. It starts with a consultation about what you want to achieve and then we agree how to proceed and the steps to take.

My work is incredibly flexible and about adapting to specific needs to provide the outcome my clients want.
